Buyer beware, I strongly suggest you do not buy wood from here. Had 1 tonne delivered about a month ago. Would not burn and when some of it did, it had a very strong chemical smell which was unnatural for wood and stunk out the whole area outside. Alot of it was milled wood and looked like old telegraph poles or fencing wood, definitely not sustainable fire wood. I have taken photos because it is so unbelievably dishonest. Told the owner, whose response was that it was not his wood and when I assured him it was, he asked me to prove it, asking me for a receipt which of course I have. He then said he would come around to see it but of course never did. I paid $60 extra to have wood hand picked for my woodburner, because it burns smaller logs, so I
guess they saw me coming and deliberately chucked in the milled and chemically treated wood thinking I am a sucker. The quality is the worst I've ever had and the wood is probably from past forest fires that have had chemicals dumped on them. Really bad product (and attitude) so be warned.

Very disappointed. After being a customer for over 30 years, last week I took delivery of 2 tonnes of split red gum with nearly every piece ingrained with sand and tangled with long dead grass. Almost every log had to be thrown down sharply to try and remove sand and grass, only partially successfully. This has implications for extra cleaning of the firebox ash and sand for months to come.

Decided to give them a second chance after previous poor service because there close by. Google and their own web site listed them as open albeit at restricted hours due to wood shortage. Not for the first time arrived with trailer in tow only to find them closed. Thats' it for me. I don't need over-priced green wood that doesn't burn anyway.

Look don’t get me wrong but I pay a premium price for seasoned firewood. The last load of mixed gum just won’t burn and I have 55+ years of Experience building fires. If you can get it started you definitely can’t get any heat out of it. Have to leave it for next year

Ordered a tonne of redgum over the phone. Very helpful and easy to deal with. Wood was delivered when and where they said.
Good quality wood, all redgum albeit a bit expensive.

Mate, This place has saved me so much time! The time it would have taken me to find the wood, Cut the wood, Split the wood and then stack it! I think hell might have frozen over first!

This place has saved me from so many cold nights! They have excellent quality red gum an get new loads delivered virtually daily in Winter. Thankfully they now have shade sails to keep the wood dry when it rains. I've been served by different lads and they always offer to carry heavy bags of kindling or wood chips to the car, thanks guys!

Delivery of wood to a friend in the Bridgwater area, they were very friendly, jovial and happy to help in any way they could.
The person we saw about the wood was more than willing to go out of his way to please us and the person we sent the wood to as a gift.

Excellent business to deal with. Their deliveries occur when they say they will and the wood is dropped as instructed. The red gum is of excellent quality this year. The pieces are chopped to appropriate sizes for a combustion heater although there are more odd shapes than usual. We have not needed to split any of this years delivery. Very happy.

wood was good, but I had to queue and it was raining-paid more than other comparable wood yards.
