store&co is located in an old building on Macquarie Street (inside the old Walshs stationery shop which was an institution in Hobart for many years). It has lovely window displays, and inside its range of products are nicely laid out.
The shop features a large range of gift wares, but also homewares, craft books, and stationery and cards many of which I have not seen anywhere else in Hobart. It made picking special cards very easy! I particularly love the cards featuring vintage pictures (art deco to 1950s), and the Australian postcards.
Prices are on the expensive side, but you are paying for different, unusual or locally made products. Worth a look.
