This is the second time we have waited over an hour for bacon and eggs only to cancel our order and leave to make our movie session. After an hour we were told that the chef was just about to start our order and we had ordered an hour and ten minutes ago at this point. Not good enough. Never going back

We love Nigel the owner, we have been coming to this place for years. Good old fashioned cafe with quality food and lots of sunshine in Cronulla mall. Good size portions for the men too!

Approximate cost: $18

I love exploring cafes, I love tasting coffee and I love comparing each one I go to.

I walked past this cafe and decided to enter, as I sat down I was a little hesitant as I could not see many specials - I mention this because most of the other cafes around had signs and menu's promoting the specials -That's OK, I thought, Ill splash out a bit more than planned and see how things go!

I started with a strong flat white - very nice taste, strong but not too bitter. My partner had a refreshing orange & mango sparkling water - presented in a tall retro milk shake glass, it looked nice. I'm not a fan of other cafes that hand you the bottle and straw bent into the lid - it looks tacky.

I then ordered a works burger with chips for about $17.90. I was surprised when it arrived as it was huge. Everything tasted fresh, it was hot when it arrived and it was probably one of the best burgers I have tasted. I must say it isn't your typical works burger but the ingredients work and blend nicely.

My partner had a bruschetta - once again a little different than your regular one but still quite nice - I would have preferred the bruschetta mix being made to order. It was quite obvious this mix was a little old, BUT it was still tasty.

The service is pretty relaxed and friendly, the atmosphere of the cafe is peaceful - mostly outside seating but you can still have a conversation or read a book in peace.

Overall this is a nice little cafe, the menu is large and diverse. Prices vary but are higher than other cafes - but in this case, quality, value and service is delivered perfectly so it is worth every cent.

Approximate cost: $9.90- $24.00

Sounds like a good all-rounder cafe, I am surprised I have not been here before when I live so close!

Great coffee, I appreciate the decoration that goes into every eat-in mug.
The pancakes are a bit on the sweet side, if you like that kind of thing.
Though I am in love with their Bacon & Toast. Perfect brekky.

Also they give a colouring page and crayons for children to colour in while waiting for your meal. They also have a doggy bowl too. A great family & pet friendly destination in Cronulla.

Approximate cost: $15

Good food, they always have a special of the day with a good price. Smoothies are great as well. I recommend.
