We needed to replace our reading lamp so browsed here at this shop that is local. Found just what we were looking for. There is a good selection of light fittings and lamps here.

Great shop for all types of electrical items from lamps, light fittings to light globes. I find the types of globes that I need are stocked here and it is easy to come here in the first place. Staff happy to help.

Took the opportunity to visit Strike A Light and stock up of a few unusual light globes that are needed in our home. They have a large range of globes and electrical fittings as well as wonderful light fittings. So far they have always had what we need in stock.

Well.....support local they say. So my builder gave me a list of internal and external lights to order. As building with a private architect/contractor, buying all my extras has been a task! So I went into Strike a Light and a bubbly female was on the phone, she said "hang on two secs" and placed the phone on the counter as I approached. I asked for a globe (that was double the price of the local Hardware store) and left, my list never left my pocket and I spent nearly $3500 at Beacon Lighting down the hill.

Another visit here for a different light globe. We needed to replace one of the globes in our heat lamp in the bathroom. We obtain the correct globe here at this store with a comprehensive range of lighting products and accessories. Always helpful

Just bought a new fan. Unfortunately there was a mixup wirh the price. However the manager went with my price at her loss..thankyou.

I needed a 12V globe for our caravan so back to Strike A Light in Blackwood. They had just what was needed and it is great to be able to purchase in local area. A marvelleous range of electrical lighting and fans is on display here and always at great prices.

Have bought quite a number of items from this electrical store. They have a very good range of light fittings etc. Great Advice too. The best part is the range of globes and extra bits and pieces that are sometimes needed. The prices also seem to be better than other electrical lighting stores which is a plus. The staff know their stock and also electrical requirements.
