Do I review or do I keep it a secret? This business deserves to do well. I've been coming here for about four years and now the whole adult family come here. Reliable and consistent team of mature and experienced internationally and locally trained cutters and colourists. They are confident to give a professional opinion that is different from what the client wants, and offer modifications that will work and they take the time to explain their thinking. They are less temperamental than many salons (no great cut one time and terrible the next) and even keep their cool when the pressure is on. They manage to provide services to a widely culturally and age diverse clientele and adjust their conversations to suit the comfort of each client (light chatter with some, banter with others and more cerebral conversations with others). Few trappings but a salon with clean lines and good lighting keeps the prices down allowing for more regular visits for those who need to look very well groomed for work. Highly Recommended if what you want is quality hair services (including no sulphate products options) rather than a champagne salon experience.

What can I say? I was rushed into a chair, a book plonked down in front of me. Not being a natural brunette, the hairdresser clearly failed to notice my lighter roots and so when I asked for a reddy tone, she just agreed. in short: wrong colour, wrong haircut. And though their sign said a cut/blowdry was $30, I got charged $50 on top of my colour. I just paid because I wanted to get out of there. This shows HOW IMPORTANT it is for hairdressers to take their time with their clients, and to ask qualifying questions; I clearly did not know what I wanted and the hairdresser did not seem adept enough to swing my decision. Also there seemed to be too many hairdressers/assistants just hanging around and chatting, it came across as lazy and uninspiring.

Having been looking around for a new hairdresser for some time, I was happy to come across Style Plus. They've got a friendly team who know how to cut your hair - the way you like it. Unlike some hairdressers these guys have their prices clearly displayed on their window, so you know how much you'll be paying... they dont just whip up any price on the spot! Very happy with my haircut from here. My hair was evenly cut and they did a great job with the layering. I'll definitely be a returning customer
