Plantation shutter installation from ordering to installation...7 MONTH wait, after being told it would only take 8-12 weeks. All shutters are shipped from overseas as it's cheaper labour etc although the wood they supposedly used was harvested from Tasmania. But after 3 months we called and they said it would take another month for the shipment. Month after month we waited and CALLED and not one time did they call to tell US what was going on. The customer service has a lot to answer for and I wonder if the shipment took so long because they lump all the orders into the one container??? We will never know, but after 7 months and us calling AGAIN they said our plantation shutters had arrived. Who knows when though, as they didn't even bother to call and let us know they had finally arrived.
The shutters were installed but not to our satisfaction. The OWNER and the sales person, measured up 2 of our windows wrong. So the frames had to be custom made and again, there was another wait. Once they were finally in, they looked different to what was described in the ordering process so we demanded something to improve it. Finally on their THIRD visit, it's now sorted, and they look great....for overseas, reasonable shutters (as to be expected) but not without lots of battling on our part. Will never recommend this company to anyone and if you do decide to go with them, good luck to you as no doubt you will probably experience a lot of frustration!
