We always drop in to the Sundance Bakery for a quick snack on our trips to Jindabyne. They sell a wide variety of baked goods, the service is quick and courteous, and they are generous with their tea (two tea-bags per pot).

After a big drive to Jindabyne, all we wanted was a hot drink so we stopped here to see what they had. I ordered a Mint Hot Chocolate. It was served within a reasonable timeframe and it was very tasty and hot. I was happy with that.

Approximate cost: $6.00

A friend of my boyfriend's works here and we decided we had to try it out. I got a sausage roll, my boyfriend a steak pie. Both of us loved them and wanted to get seconds but the line was pretty big (all through the winter season it remains busy). Everything was fresh and tasty and we will be back for more next time we visit town.

Oh, they make the most wonderful pies, sausage rolls, and quiches here! Agreed! But hell YES. It can be SO busy in winter--especially in the mornings. Awesome review :)

I've been eating pies, sausage rolls, quiches and tarts at Sundance for as long as I can remember. Probably the best value feed in the tourist-oriented area, they're also one of the tastiest.

I've been saying for the better part of 10 years that they offer the best pies in the country, and I've yet to be corrected.

It's busy during ski season, but service is also fast. Seriously, it's a crime to visit the Snowies and not visit Sundance. I was here a month ago and even though I wasn't hungry, I HAD to have one of their amazing quiches. SO WORTH THE WEIGHT GAIN. The pastry was perfect and flakey, and the quichy cheesy and delicious.

Do yourself a favour. Your tastebuds will thank you. Your hips probably won't...

We love this bakery in Jindabyne. They have a great selection of pies and sweet treats. There is a small eat in area or you can take away. The coffee is good too. Gets busy during ski season but it is worth the wait.
