Provision of flying training was great with great scenery and a class d airspace experience. Then, afterwards, it was perfect to sit at the bar to watch other flights.

The Sunshine Coast Aero Club is simply the best pilot training facility on the Sunshine Coast, and a pretty awesome club environment to boot.

I have been a member of the Sunshine Coast Aero Club since 2000 and since that time have undertaken many volunteer roles, donated significant time and substantial funds, so am naturally passionate about our club and may be just a little biased :-)

I've logged more than 50 hours in the various aircraft the club have owned and cross hired over the years and continue to do so today.

I have had the misfortune of using two flying schools over the years which have gone into liquidation, resulting in an incredibly expensive transition to a new school, not to mention the significant heartache and frustration!

The club has been in continuous operation since 1959 and as a not for profit organisation will continue to operate without the commercial pressures normally associated with flying schools.
