I booked a car from this company based solely on the reviews on this website. Well I'm glad I did as they were brilliant.

From the airport pick up to the price everything was brilliant (& a free gps in the car for mentioning WOMO too !)

I loved that the price was as quoted and none of this ridiculous up selling and rip offs. Friends had rented from someone else and they paid $3,000 for a tiny scratch they got - what a dampner on a holiday !

Thank you and please keep up the great work / according to the kids we are coming back for more "scary theme park" rides so we will need you again !

The Customer service we received was absolutely amazing. Extremely professional for a small family business. I thought it was going to be a hassle to be picked up at the airport with my 4 kiddies in tow but once I saw the huge queues for all the other car rental services, I was totally relieved.
Price was really reasonable considering I hired a 8 seater and during school holidays.
And having not to pay anything extra except for what I was quoted was such a bonus. They don't even take a bond.
We will definitely be using them again on our next trip up.

My husband and I were looking for a rental car as we were going to be visiting from NZ and I came across Surfers Rent A Car due to the fact they already had great reviews. The booking via email correspondance was smooth and I was advised of the full details and costs of my booking before we were happy to proceed. The price Surfers Rent A Car quoted was exactly that! No hidden, nasty costs. Upon arrival at the airport we were greeted and driven to the branch (a short 15min drive). The transition was simple and easy, the car itself was immaculate and a fairly new model. Overall, hubby and I had a fantastic holiday in Australia and that was mainly due to this awesome family run business who made the entire process for us "sweet as". Thanks again guys! We are a family of 6 with 3 of the children needing a booster forward facing child seat and rear facing child seat. We hired a Kia grand Carnival and the car was waiting at the airport with child seats ready to go. The car was in excellent condition and the child seats as good as new. The hire rates were excellent as well as the service I highly recommend his company for your car hire needs.

Great service and super friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Car was exactly as described. Super value. Picked up at Gold Coast and dropped back to Brisbane with no trouble at all. Will definitely recommend to everyone I know who is looking to rent a car. Huge thumbs up!
