Only Parramatta's Sushi Bay can take something as seemingly-unappetizing as raw fish coated in seaweed and turn it into an amazing experience. Having come here for over two years now, the novelty of perpetually moving plates has died down, but the friendly waitstaff and fresh dishes are as fantastic as they've always been.

These days, I get the same dishes more or less every time: salmon with onion and caviar, chicken and avocado, prawn with fish sauce and the occasional miso soup. After three, four or five of the same dish, I'm not over the taste. It's just too good. The waitstaff are always extremely friendly and accommodating, greeting you on entrance and efficiently handling your bill without any of the creepy insincere waiter-to-customer banter that could easily permanently drive me away from a business.

Some are unaware of the actual menu, through which one can order special dishes and larger meals. In the one or two occurrences in which I've done this (albeit unnecessarily, as the sushi train is enough) my food was delivered promptly and fresh. Would recommend sticking to the sushi train though; I ordered a chicken teriyaki on rice which was overly drenched in soy sauce and impossible to finish.

The seating layout in Parramatta is about the best of all the Sushi Bay restaurants in Sydney alongside Penrith, although the latter is smaller and thus waiting lines are more likely. There are four tables that can comfortably seat four people, which is infinitely favourable to the rows, which are better for couples, trios max.

Ultimately for brilliant customer service, great sushi and an overall satisfying dining experience, Sushi Bay Parramatta is the place to go.

Your reviewing style is superb - even if it's just for Sushi Bay. V. professional! I'm impressed, as always.

I have a mantra that I stick by faithfully: "I know what I like, and I like what I know." This applies to Sushi Bay, Parramatta without fail.

I visit Sushi Bay on a moderately frequent basis - after university or in general when catching up with friends. The sushi train is always a nail-biting experience, and the selection is large enough that virtually everything looks appetizing. My favourites are the tuna & avocado, and chicken & avocado. The portions always find the favourable middle ground, which is to say that they are neither stingy nor sloppy. The chicken is always fried perfectly, and the avocado never dominates. However, the tuna has a tendency to taste canned. It might be better if it were freshly cooked, but nonetheless is still a plate I like to pick up.

Every now and then, I prefer to eat plain avocado or cucumber sandwiches. They're not always available on the train, but it is easy enough to ask the waitstaff or even the chefs directly for an unavailable plate. I have always been responded with enthusiasm and prompt making of my dish, and I appreciate this as a consumer.

The service has never been lacking in the tens of times I have been here. Always greeted when you enter the restaurant, the waitstaff are kind and helpful. The seating arrangements of Parramatta Sushi Bay far outweigh those of Blacktown - there are ample amounts of tables, so if you dine with larger parties, you don't necessarily have to sit in a row (which makes for difficult conversation). If it's particularly busy, they'll make you wait. Thankfully, the longest I've had to wait was a mere five minutes. The place is always spotless -- no stray rice or soy sauce droplets. The waitresses are also always aware, so there's no need to awkwardly hail someone for the bill.

The ambience and food at Parramatta Sushi Bay is delightful, and is one of my go-to places with friends whenever I'm hungry. This is a relaxing, friendly and comforting environment where the food is always good.

Good for a sushi fix. Clean and simple. I wouldn't rave about the selection. Order some hand rolls if you want fresher.
Nice designed store, there is lots of natural light which i love.
We prefer this sushi bay compared to Castle Hill, Blacktown and Rouse Hill.

I eat at this Sushi place very often when I go to Parramatta. It's near Westfields so it's quite convenient.
The sushi there are quite fresh and they have the normal variety at a sushi store but the presentation of the store and the food make it worthy to go to.
