Terrible. I cut my hand so badly it required an x-ray. I saw no Doctor only nurses. Each one did their bit. No one was in chager.
Hi, I put on a bandages. Hi, I only give tablets. Hi, I only suture. Have you looked at my x-ray - oh no.
Do I need antibiotics no. how would I know i guess no.
No neurovasucalar assessment
No paperwork to me of GP just on your way.

Do not accept a NP they think they are doctors and are not. Pathetic and now I may need an operation.

Go elsewhere even if you are dying.

I attended SH Emergency department today (Christmas Day) as I was experiencing urinary problems. The people who attended me were first class, and in particular Dr Ke Sun. Ke is a natural and has great ability in explaining the situation. In summary I VG experience.

I accept that this hospital has abundant resources and knowledgeable doctors. Yet the unsettling truth is that the place is not amenable to patient recovery. The standard of nursing is unenviable-particularly amongst the aging ones ,many of whom are gruff,insulting ,impatient and generally uncaring. They grovel to the doctors and are surly to the patients. On too many occasions , a request for assistance is met with reluctance . Worse, they set a bad example to the younger staff. Many nurses find patient screams when an injection is given to be quite hilarious. Lack of trust between patients and nurses abounds. They think that it is acceptable to continually GOSSIP about patients so that when a shift is over ,the next set of nurses ALREADY have pre-conceived views of patients . When a patient reacts with ill-concealed indignation to verbal abuse from nurses they react by backing each other up,denying their abuse and saying that patients actually abused them. I was there for a fortnight from late March 2021 to early April 2021 and literally and actively disliked many of them.

MY FIRST EXPERIENCE AT SUTHERLAND HOSPITAL AND COULDN'T HAVE BEEN MORE PLEASED.
ONLY DAY SURGERY, BUT THE TREATMENT I RECEIVED WAS CARING AND COMFORTING, AND I CAN FULLY RECOMMEND THE STAFF IN THE DAY CARE WARD AT THIS HOSPITAL.

We were at Sutherland Hospital ER and we could not believe how nice and efficient staff were. The wait time to see the doctor was 10 mins. The nurses were checking on the patient every 20 min( we had to stay there for 6 hours due to medical condition) and when we were allowed to go home, they gave the scripts, the medicine to get through the night.

My daughter was kicked out of the hospital because they dont back a back surgeon there to treat her so they threw her in a wheelchair and left her outside, they lied to us and were horrible. they said to herr theere was nothing wrong with her back even though she couldnt feel her foot. we took her to prince of -wales and turns out she has fractured her spine. very bad service.
