I was quite surprised after reading the previous reviews, though the shop does seem indeed crowded I can understand there's only so much you can do with a small space. The owner might have changed since 2010? But she's definitely happy to talk to you and gives assistance when you need it, especially compared some of the staff at the other grocery stores in Dickson and even suggested a recipe for the dumplings I brought. Overall I will be going back there again!

Went through a number of the asian grocers in Dickson looking for Japanese cooking ingredients, until i found them at Swan Asian Grocery with the helpful assistance of the shop attendant.

The shop looks really messy and dusty. Once, I went in to get dried lotus roots but the ones on the shelves are expired. When I reported it to the owner, she told me rudely that it doesnt really matter since it's dried and I was quite disappointed with her reply. The prices there are okay and they have quite a huge range of asian food. Still, I am doubting the quality of their products since I came across many of them which is expired. Definitely wont go there again.

this shop actually carries an impressive amount of goods (from tea pots to freezer stuff and everything in between) and has a fair number of people coming through to get stuff. But the lighting needs improvement and also, the shopkeeper has got to keep the stuff/place in a more organized manner so that it doesn't seem so cluttered. stuff can be dusty, depending on what you're looking for, but prices are better than most.

this place may look dark and dingy, but it's chock full of lots of noodles from all over, particularly hard-to-find sichuan ones.

I made the mistake of popping into this shop to pick up some groceries for our friends get together. The shelves are stacked so close together you have to walk sideways to find anything and the owner seems to busy reading the papers to help out. After making our way down the aisle to find out they were out of stock we tried to look for a substitute brand and that's when a small rat jumped out from the shelving to our suprise. We also headed for the door, how this place passes its council inspection I do not know.
