Went into Swan for a Swan Indulgence Manicure ($55), it was anything but an indulgence. I wasn't explained the extra price for shellac polish, my cuticles weren't trimmed, only one hand was moisturised, the polish looked like it had been growing out for at least a week after the treatment and the polish of two nails fell off after a day and a half. When I went in and said to the 'management' that I was not happy they asked rather abruptly, "What's wrong?" I had to wait 40 minutes. After being told that they'll call the 'management' to see what would be done I was called back and offered a refund for the shellac, "Because the manicure was fine." I explained that the manicure was not done well and asked for the 'management' to call me, which they didn't. It was only after reading reviews on here and asking one of the staff who works there (unbeknownst to her) that I found out that the 'management' were the same person. Anyway, the managament returned from a break and was surprised to see me (especially because they didn't call me back), I reminded them who I was and they sheepishly told me to enter a room. They looked again at my nails, was rude to my mum who was with me and abruptly said, "Fine." I was given a full refund. Would not recommend this business.

I recently went to Swan and was very impressed with their wonderful pleasant service and the great job they did on my nails. Well done guys!

ive been going to Swan for waxing for over a year, and only stopped going when i moved away :( jess (the new owner) was my waxer and i was so happy when i found out she was taking over. All the staff there are really nice and knowledgable. And I like how they text to confirm the day before. Im actually getting married soon, so am going to make a special trip to the salon to make sure im looking my best for the big day :) thanks girls x

I went to Swan to to get an indulgence manicure with paraffin as i was a groomsman in a wedding party. It was the first time i have ever had my nails done so i may not be the best person to comment. The service by the ladies on staff was awesome. Even though i was kind of embarrassed (and feeling un-manly) at having a manicure done, the ladies were supportive and re-assuring and made me feel at ease. The paraffin treatment was pretty weird but felt really good and made my skin shine for a change. Full marks to Swan for giving me such a great first experience in the beauty industry :)

HI all, I love swan beauty in broad beach, I started going there about a year ago n found it to be great. The staff are amazing and very cheery and helpful i go there for just about anything beauty now. Jess the manager there is fantastic she does an amazing job. Thanks

I went to Swan Beauty very recently and had my nails done. It was the worst job I have EVER had. They look awful and I can't wait to get them off!!! And I sat there for sooo long getting them done. I have always had a fantastic job done before so have never minded that they are more expensive than others. I will never go back there again and I'll tell all my friends not to as well

I recently went to Swan Beauty to have my nails done,I was greeted with a friendly smile and was VERY surprised at quick and efficient the staff were. I was running late for my appointment by more than 30 minutes and was told not to worry & to sit down and relax, while they made me a coffee! 25 minutes later, my nails looked fantastic and I was very happy! Unfortunately two days later I was packing and ironing for my trip away and I somehow managed to iron a nail .... it was completely destroyed! I called the staff at Swan who insisted I come back to have it repaired ... I went in without an appointment, they fixed my nail within 5 minutes flat and would not accept any money from me! I was so impressed with the service and quality of the service that I'm going there and only there from now on!!!

I went to Swan recently for a Pamper Pedicure and was bitterly disappointed. I paid $85 for the service and asked them to use a blade on my feet to remove hard dead skin. They used the blade but hardly scratched the surface. I can get a Pedicure at the cheaper places for between $40-50 and they do a far better job in my opinion than was done here. I'm afraid they have lost my custom as well.

I went to Swan Natural Beauty Salon & Day Spa, on Saturday where I got my nails done they charged me $85 and the gel was lifting by Saturday evening the glue underneath my nails was so thick it was pressing down very hard on my finger tips it was very sore the gel was blobbed on and not smoothed out at all, my nails looked very bulbus, I showed alot of my friends that evening they told me to go back the next day for a refund as it was a bad job for $85, I went back on the Sunday but unfortunately for me it was closed! so I went over to Rainbow nails in Pacific Fair as I needed them fixed they were too sore,they were extremely nice to me and fixed Swans Stuff up for a very low fee of $20 where they spent a few hours on them as they had to soak my nails and file them back many times to get them back to my natural nails,there was no way I could have waited for them to open up again on the Monday as I had to work I phoned Swan Nails on my morning off on Wednesday, when I phoned they were very rude and said I should have left a message on their answer phone on the Sunday which I thought was pointless all I asked for on the phone was my money back. They said that I had no proof that the job was bad so they would not refund me I said I had a receipt from them and from Rainbow Nails as proof as who goes and gets there nails done twice within 24 hours (noone !!!) all they could reply with was I don't know, yes they may have been doing nails for 40 years but that still does not mean that you always do it well. To me the customer is always right and if they just accepted the fact that they did a bad job and gave me my money back I would have been happy but for her now they have lost a customer.
