Nice, clean store inside, in an old cliff-stone building that used to be a bakery (back when all small towns had their own baker).
The store is handy to the ferry queue, just off to the left as you come off the ferry into the town. Also close to the river for houseboats and other boats, with a mooring area just below the pub.
There is a small range of groceries for emergencies, a dvd library, drink frigs, chips, lollies and other deli lines, ice, firewood, bait, fishing gear, as well as takeaway food, plus petrol and diesel bowsers outside.
Pies and pasties, pastries etc. from Waikerie Bakery, plus they make burgers, hot chips, etc.
I had a nice freshly made vege burger. Good tasting, not greasy. Fair value for $6.50. Friendly service.
