Sweat Central - Terrible Customer Service, Inaccurate Product Description and No Refund

I bought an olympic weight tree from Sweat Central's eBay store. I had been researching extensively to find one that fit full size olympic bumper plates without overlapping so I could grab any size plate easily without having to take plates I didn't off just to get the right plate. My search turned up a weight plate tree from an eBay shop by Sweat Central (sweatcentral). It looked like it could the right product at a good price and free shipping it advertised. To be sure it met my needs since the weight tree would be sent from NSW, I contacted Sweat Central to make sure the weight tree fit plates without overlapping, to which I got the reply yes it did as they said they had checked. Based on the description and photo of the weight tree I was still unsure and asked a second time so that I could be 100% confident the weight tree was tall enough and avoid a return and refund scenario back to Sydney from Melbourne. Sweat Central again responded yes they were sure the weight tree did fit olympic size plates without overlapping. So after Sweat Central confirmed twice the weight tree was the correct size for my needs I ordered it straight away. Next I got a request for courier fees. The item listing stated free delivery to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, but Sweat Central had a very specific definition, being only to the central city area, not Melbourne suburbs.
The weight tree arrived and before assembling the weight tree it didn’t look large enough for plates to be loaded without overlapping. Sure enough, not even close and my olympic bumper plates are 5mm less in diameter than the plates Sweat Central claimed fit the weight tree without overlapping. There was no way standard 450mm olympic bumper plates could be loaded on the weight tree without overlapping and being a pain to use, i.e. pulling more plates off just to get the plates you actually want to use. I contacted Sweat Central and let them know the weight tree wasn’t as the had told me, and that the one I received was structurally different to the photo on their eBay site. I started the eBay refund process, then repacked the weight tree back in the original box and even used better packing materials (bubble wrap versus the thin plastic bags) than what it came with to make sure it got back to Sweat Central undamaged. Once Sweat Central had the weight tree back again, they stopped communicating with me and I didn’t get my refund for the weight tree or the courier fees. eBay refunded the item cost but I didn't get back the courier fees as Sweat Central get you to pay out of eBay direct to their bank account.
So here you have a seller that has the customer try and help them not sell an item that didn’t match the customers requirements but they didn't step up and do their bit. Then after going out of my way to to get the item back to Sweat Central without a scratch, they keep my money.
I have dealt with many good quality fitness and gym equipment shops out there, so in my experience Sweat Central is just one of these one’s that can easily be avoided.
It has now been 7 days since Sweat Central received the weight tree, stopped communications and withheld my refund.

Approximate cost: $180

I always preffered Sweat Central, whenever I need to buy any of fitness equipment for my gym. Two month ago, I have bought weightlifting belts only at 35 $. These are really effective and comfortable to use. I want to appreciate them for their products and friendly services. Would highly recommended!!
