Watched this dude on tik tok. He knows absolutely nothing about dogs, just chokes them out hoping they will obey him. I would never leave my dog with this guy. Discusting behaviour. Leave the poor dogs alone!

Un hinged owners tell lies about the customer to make them feel better about themselves. Animal welfare issues at the kennel would never recommend this place to anyone!

We just picked up my dog from Sydney dog training centre he did the 4 week on lead program we spent 1 hour leaning to control him with john and mike the trainers my dog ben has learnt lots I am very happy with both trainers and the result I do recommend them and I will be back for more obedience training with ben Well-done Sydney dog training centre thank u john and team

I Dim had the best dog training experience with john and his team at Sydney dog training Centre my dog was a mess and out off control he was starting to bite us and he was jumping on my grandchildren he was also very perceive on food and showing aggressive behaviors. After speaking with John he recommended the aggressive dog program we put King into this 5 week program we just got King back he is so much better no more food aggression no more jumping on my grandchildren. I recommend them to all pet owners money well spent. Thank you John and his team.

We sent our 15 month old golden retriever for the four week obedience program.
SDTC have been absolutely incredible with their communication and setting the expectation with what they hoped to achieve with our boy.
Upon picking him up today, it is incredible seeing the transformation they made in such a short time.
They spent the time showing us what our boy had learnt and how to continue on with the training. It was very evident our pup had a lot of respect and love to give, constantly watching and wagging his tail.
SDTC is not just for "aggression dogs". Our "family pet" got the absolute best out of his experience as he was positive and willing to be trained.
Don't be afraid to receive feedback your dog isn't perfect and you will get the most out of your experience too, after all if your pup was perfect, you wouldn't be sending them to be trained.

I could not recommend SDTC enough! We had sent our boy previously to another Sydney training centre and did not have a positive experience, but would not hesitate to recommend SDTC and cannot wait to send our boy back for a refresher.

I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS FACILITY AGAIN !!!

Our dog was booked for a 4 week obedience training and stay - we removed him after 4 days, not soon enough in our experience, should never of got out of the car on arrival , dirty water bowls with algae and the state of facility we saw was awful .. In our experience we could not get our dog out of there fast enough. There is signage that states The dog sleeping kennels are not permitted to view, no visiting during the dogs stay, no photography , no phones and the lack of the ability to even call and ask how your pet is more than one time per week, there are no updates via pictures, video's during the pets stay that are supplied, we requested if updates would come during the period and were told no - was detrimental to the dogs training... OMG,, the lack of interest in Our Dog on arrival was zero, which was very upsetting to us - their training methods are 100% fear based and extremely cruel and aggressive - Our dog was injured from probable choking and excessive force around his neck with a choke chain as noted by our vet, on collection his eyes had ruptured blood vessels and swollen . We where told he was just a little stressed . His eyes were perfect on drop off.

I wish I had done better research on them and what they offer before using this place, but I can assure you I will never be back, once bitten twice shy.

I hope that this review can save someone the same anguish that we have gone through. .Please please please ... think twice - Do research.

Do NOT, repeat do NOT take your dog to this place. One of the first warning signs, was a sign stating that you could not video within the premises. This man knows nothing about training animals. He only knows how to be cruel and instill fear into an animal in an effort to get it to obey. He literally pulled our dog of the ground using a chocker chain and hung him in the air struggling to breath for 30 seconds. We could not get our dog out of there fast enough. This man and his wife are obnoxious, cruel people, who use fear and physical pain to ‘train’ animals. Run a mile! The only reason this has 1 star is that I cannot publish it without giving it the lowest rating allowed. If I could it would be 0 or less!

Recent changes to our family situation made it necessary for us to cease
keeping a family dog. We all loved Snowy so very much which made it difficult
to accept. We were fortunate enough to discover the Sydney Dog Training
Centre (SDTC) who relatively quickly found her a loving new home.
It was very comforting getting photos from HDTC of Snowy with her new family.

Worst experience I have ever had. Truly regret leaving my dog here. The establishment [redacted name], was aggressive and abusive towards me. He did not want to give my dog back, and I do not understand why. I felt threatened and frightened. I hate to think what my dog experienced.
