Amazing we had a fantastic day. It’s been a while since we have been and it was great to see all the changes. The zoo is clean and the animals great. The play ground and water park a great extra. Thank you fir a great day
Beautifully set out, clean and lots of areas to sit and relax.Impressed with Verity of animals, and informative friendly staff.Recomending to friends and family.️
Hadn't been here since my children where little. Went here with friends and there children. Wonderful zoo plenty to see and park well set up
We had a lovely family day at Symbio. My daughter absolutely loved all of the animals. There was a good variety of animals and all looked well cared for. The only disappointing aspect here was the over-priced and very average food.
Went here with an American friend who was visiting and it was lovely. My friend thought it was even better than Taronga! Koala encounter was amazing
Symbio Wildlife Park is a truly wonderful zoo. It is not too big, but definitely still a full day out. Fantastic range of species to visit, and the presentations the staff put are both educational and entertaining. Food was expensive and over priced, but that would be my only criticism. This is a great family venue, and more fairly priced than other wildlife parks. Highly recommended!
I recently tookn aAAmerican friend here and I couldnt agree more!
Great day out all the animals out and looks soo happy the staff 10 out of 10 overall experience 100+++
And did red panda encounter best experience ever
Approximate cost: $30
Wonderful park. They have substantially upgraded since I was there prior. A wonderful day out for families. Friendly staff. Food and beverage services ok. May be a good idea to take a picnic lunch, particularly if you're gluten free. They say on their maps that they are opening a new restaurant early 2014. So the park will be much better because of it I'd say. Beautiful little picnic areas and a swimming pool which was lovely and clean. The animal attractions are also expanding with further animals coming soon. Lions and Lemurs were among the signs we saw. Also, female toilets and baby change station would do well with an upgrade, as they only baby change area was in the ladies toilet, meaning my husband could not come in to assist me. Hopefully - when the restaurant is open, this may be rectified as well. Five stars for the fun factor of the place.

recently when i visited, the park was undergoing construction to add even more areas to the park. this was an extremely positive experience. the animals were healthy looking and there were a range of animals walking around and in cages. the main attraction was the tiger. however there were many excellent animals in their. with hands on experiences such as feeding most of the animals. this was truly an amazing day. it had services such as a cafe for drinks and food. and areas for pick nicking. the price to get in was cheap and i didnt mind paying as it all helps the conservation of animals in the park. parking is free and right outside the entrance.
A great place, it has quite a variety of animals and its soon expanding with more African animals, as well as an Australian farm experience. Our 3 year old loved feeding all the animals, they were very quiet and kid friendly. We had no problems pushing our stroller around, the place was very well maintained.
Sounds like an interesting place to take my son!
I was there with my mom about a month ago. It was just 20 minutes drive from the place where I live. They have a lot of local animals, big territory. Parking spaces are not marked and there not many of them. Probably during school holiday it will be quite challenging to find a place. The price for ticket was reasonable. They have daily talks about animals. There is relaxing atmosphere and the park is not so crowded as Taronga Zoo. There plenty places to have lunch. But it's better to take lunch with you as they have only one take-away place. There are a lot of wallabies and I came close to them even without any food. I found it is a good place to go with the whole family two-three times a year.
Its always great to go to Symbio and see the animals up close. You can walk around and pat the kangaroos that are very friendly and climbup on you for food that is available to purchase at the kiosk. The emus are a bit more intimidating with there crazy looking eyes, and they are happy to stick there whole head into your foodbag whilst holding it. I think kids would love it. They also have Dingoes, Koalas, prarie dogs, snakes, brds,(big eagle) easy parking , no crowds
Far from public transport? Check!
Parking lot without any lines market? Check!
Prices equal to Taronga Zoo? Check!
Food prices that are more expensive than leaving, driving to McDonalds and back? Check!
Paths that are gravel and make walking with a stroller difficult? Check!
A nice selection of animals to look at, plenty of shows that are spaced through the day to see and not far from Sydney by your own car.
You want to bring your own food, avoid going with small children and wear comfortable sneakers.
But for the same entry fee and being able to use public transport, I'd rather go to Taronga next time.

My husband and I were both surprised by this place. Much more there then we expected. A very well kept zoo with native and exotic animals including snakes, tasmanian devils, tigers, marmosets, crocs (crikey), emus, roos, beautiful white peacocks etc etc. Enough to fill a Manly ferry if not an ark. Pack the kids in the car as they will love not only seeing but being able to pat so many of the animals. We noticed they organise children's birthday parties. We had not heard much of it before but will certainly go again. Kiosk available and plenty of picnic areas. Very enjoyable outing.
I think this park was great, for the cost it is great value. Not as big as the zoo so my kids didn't get tired out too much. worth a visit. My kids at 2 & 7 and they both had a ball.
Approximate cost: $60
A nice wildlife park, down to earth and pleasant atmosphere. Lots of great animals to see. Worth a visit.
Wow, what a place! For locals and visitors this place is beyond what you'd expect. It only looks like a small place but it takes you at least 2-3 hours to move around and see everything. There are demonstrations of Koalas and Meerkats among others which are very interesting, and you get to pat a Koala! Overseas visitors love this place. We brought people from Germany and Greece and they said it was one of the best experiences they had in Australia. You get right up to the kangaroos that feed out of your hand. We were there when some had joeys in their pouches and we were even able to pat the joeys! What an experience!
My two year old absolutely loved the zoo experience this place offered. Even now, six months later she still brings up details of her visit. Without a doubt, this zoo was well worth the admission and travel time to get to it.
This Park gave the children the opportunity to get up close and personal with the animals. They have a lovely selection of animals, but it is not everyday you can hold an olive python, pat a koala, feed some VERY GREEDY kangaroos, bottle feed farm animals and pat a peacock. Plus there is a pool and plenty of picnic areas
Approximate cost: $11-20
