Left my red Holden ute for work on its body which was really knocked around. Andrew Sedgman kept me up to date all the way and when I pick it up today I could not be happier with the finished result. Simply outstanding and superb work done by the Symes team.

I came in to have my vehicle assessed by Symes, i was spoke to very very rudely by the Manager Andrew Sedgman, he snapped at me and spoke down to me, as a female i was very scare and upset, they will never get work from me or my close circle of friends ever again, steer clear.

Repairs were a few days late as it appeared they were ridiculously over booked, probably due to a money hungry boss i assume, i was told by Barnaby that he would call and update me thru the repair process, this never happened once, i had to keep calling, he is very rude, speaks over people, yelled at me, im not deaf Barnaby, you can lower your tone a notch buddy, very clear he should not be working in a office environment where he is required to talk to the public. Apart from him, was a ok experience. .

My car went into Symes for a minor repair. 3 days was the estimated time Andrew said.
Third day nothing until I rang at 2pm.
Spoke to Barnaby, not a good experience. Car would not be ready that day, or perhaps the next.
I reminded him of my contract being disabled, Symes agreeing to bring the car to me when finished. He was not keen on that idea.
However at 10am the following day Andrew called to say Tyler would collect me at 10.45am, car completed.
All in all a pleasant experience, but need to keep Barnaby off the phone.

Efficient handling of documents and timings by the front desk team and great quality work on the car itself by Dan. Thoroughly recommended.

Good repairer. Did a good job. I think id go back.

Took my car here for a repair in early January and they did a good job. But I had left $30 worth of coins in my car and basically the whole amount was stollen!! I was not happy!! I had trusted these people and this is what happens. Never coming here again!!

I was sent to Symes Accident Repairs by my insurance company, i was a bit concerned at first as i usually use another repairer, but i was pleasantly suprised with the repairs and paint, they looked great and still do a few months down the track. The only let down was the poor attitude of [redacted personal identifier] in the office, when my husband and i dropped off my car he was very short with us and clearly didnt want to be there!! On the friday we collected the car, he was there again with the same poor attitude, another nice fella handed the car over to us and explained exactly what was done, and how it was done.
Apart from [redacted personal identifier], i highly recomend this repair shop. janette

great panelbeating tradesman at this business, my car had big accident in front. it was very stuffed and had to be towed. it got repaired at symes by my insurance company, i was concerned the car may not look the same again, when i picked up my car it looked spot on and it drives perfect in every way. its such a good job these guys did on it!!! My car was damaged by another driver reversing into the front of my car. I contacted my insurer who then advised that Symes is a preferred accident repairer. I went with Symes based on the insurer advising that they would be a better repairer than other normal RACV approved repairers. This defintiely wasn't the case. When my car was returned, the radiator was broken and they did not check this, and the repair to the bumper bar was missing parts to secure the bumper bar to the chassis and the car. The bumperbar appears lop sided when you look at the car. Even worse was when I advised that there were parts missing they claimed that the parts were never there and I then had to go to my car dealer to obtain a copy of the diagram showing that the missing parts were there and needed to be replaced. It is dissapointing that they did not check that the radiator of the car was ok when they returned it to me meaning that had I not asked for them to check the car could have been destroyed by overheating!!

WE WENT THERE RECENTLY FOR A SMALL DENT/SCRATCH FOR A NEWISH CAR AND THEY WERE COMPETITIVE WITH THEIR RATES AND ALSO REPLACED WITH GENUINE PARTS REQUIRED. GREAT SERVICE AND FAST OUTCOMES
