Synergy (through Andrew Skubel) acted as a Buyer's Advocate for me in a recent investment unit purchase and now Synergy (through Rachel Burke) is managing the unit for me.
The cost of the buyers advocate service is exceptionally good value for the quality of the properties that I was provided with for viewing and the feedback I received on market trends. I would certainly recommend using a buyers advocate if you are locked into being one of those unfortunate "time poor" people such as myself. In this regard, this is the first time I have used a buyers advocate and I am very happy that I did and very happy with what Synergy provided to me.
I now have Synergy managing the property and couldn't be happier with the level of service there as well I receive. No pun intended but its good synergy to leverage the investment I have made in using the buyers advocate service now into the management of the unit with the same organisation.

Helen was fantastic. She gave me an honest view of what my property was worth, recommended essential repairs, organised furniture and cleaning prior to auction and supported and guided me through the auction process ensuring I got value for money. We've used Synergy for buying and selling residential real estate. On the purchase side, it was a property that had been passed in at auction, and Synergy negotiated a great price, well below what I would have thought was needed if I had done the negotiation myself. On the selling side, they found us the best agent, great trades people, and provided great advice on how to present the property. The sell price was 11% higher than the reserve, and we were thrilled. We have recommended Synergy to friends who have also had great success. It's nice to have someone on your side when dabbling in the world of real estate, and the agents that come with it!
We just bought a new investment property through Synergy, and we are happy. It was a painless way to sift through the endless choices, and we seem to have gotten a good property. Synergy was able to get into the private sale market for us and find us a place that not many other buyers knew about. Synergy advised on how much to offer, and we beat the 2nd top offer by only $700. You can hardly do better than that. We figure we paid about $30,000 under the auction re-sale price in an area that will definitely continue to grow in value.
Synergy is now managing the tenancy as well. Their recommended top rent was spot on, and they found us a tenant after only one open house. We've had a few problems with things not working that we couldn't test before buying (like the gas heater and tv antenna), but we're happy with how hard the agent is working to resolve the issues quickly for the tenant and with less expense to us.
So far, so good, Synergy!
