Ive been here twice and both times it was lovely there's lots of tables so you don't need to book in advance. The staff were really pretty uniforms brings a real thai feeling to the place. There were many things to order with lots of fish, currys and prawn dishes. i ordered the deep fried prawns in batter with rice and roti bread with peanut satay sauce. there sauce is so creamy you will find yourself asking for more as its addictive. Very big portions for the price you pay and a large selection of wines.

Approximate cost: $25

It was cold and windy down at Nelson Place tonight and we were looking for some quick food to take home. This little cafe is sandwiched in between La Porchetta on the corner and the big ice - cream shop. With a small glass window frontage, you could easily miss it. It's deceptively roomy inside with a large amount of wooden floor area and many tables and chairs for dining in. There's not a huge amount of "atmosphere" but we weren't looking for that, just some take away. There are outside tables for dining in finer weather on the large footpath area in this scenic location with Commonwealth Reserve just over the road.

The lady was very nice, showing us the different menu options. We chose the Chicken and Tomato with stir fried vegetables which was nice but the chicken might have been a tiny bit underdone. The special fried rice was full of egg and prawns and other meats and veggies, and that suited us fine but might not some others. The satay stick entrees were the sensation of the night. They were really good but oh, so spicy. Maybe an 8 on my spice-o-meter and I like spicy, and my friend who's not so tolerant, thought they were rather too much for her. Very tasty, but be warned. Our total order of 5 items was under $40.

They have a lot of menu choices, having both Vietnamese and Chinese options - I believe the Hanoi crispy friend chicken is very good according to another friend of mine. As well as the sugar cane prawn rolls. Plenty of other curries, rices/noodles and fried dishes to choose from.

Open 7 days a week - but they weren't last Sunday when we were down here as well. Delivery from 6.00 - 9.00 with a minimum $25 order.

Go next door and have an ice -cream while they fill your take away order, or sit inside under the many strange hanging lights, but this place is well worth a look.

Approximate cost: $13
