I had an excellent Vindaloo in there. I've been there four times and tried out different dishes, but I kept on ordering Vindaloo. I don't know if it was just me or what, but I'd surely recommend Tandoori Point for those who want to try delicious Indian cuisine.
The take-away we had from here was so disappointing. After a tough day at work, I was looking forward to a yummy take-away dinner, but both of the curries that we ordered (a beef and a chicken one) had a lot of gristle and fat in them. They clearly don't use quality meat in their dishes. They also told me the order would be ready for collection in 20 minutes, but it took a good 35 minutes. Waiting in the (very cold) restaurant for 15 minutes wasn't much fun. Come on guys, you can do better than that.
Approximate cost: $15
Yuck! It's so disappointing when they don't care about the quality of the meat.
That doesn't sounds very good.
Thank you for warning everyone on womo.
We struck gold at our local shopping strip with Tandoori Point. After living with a first generation Indian-Australian, we were always spoiled with tasty Indian eats. It wasn't until our neighbour told us about Tandoori Point and how great they are that we decided to give them a try.
On the odd occasion, and I mean very odd (usually when they're busy) the lamb has been chewy, but the good far outweighs the bad!
Really delicious food, great service, and an added bonus that they deliver (for those nights that you really don't want to leave the house)!
