I stumbled across Tara Massage Therapy via Yelp and haven't looked back. Cartoon and Phil provide a truly professional service. The building is new and the premise very clean and extremely hygienic. Having never had a remedial / deep tissue massage before I can't compare this massage with others. Cartoon manages to find every pressure point in your body, particularly the ones that you didn't know you existed and will adjust her level of pressure to suit you. Cartoon's massage will hurt so if you're looking for a nice relaxing massage you will get a shock. It does hurt (sometimes a lot) but I always walk away feeling relaxed and free. I highly recommend Cartoon's massage. They're great for men and women. My boyfriend and I have both found Cartoon's massage effective.

I'll admit, when I saw the tiny therapist, I was not sure she would be able to get right in to the pain zone to fix it. Lesson number one: don't be put off by her small stature. She has some incredible strength and she knows what she is doing! Fantastic clean shop with a solid comfy, heated massage table, great recliners for reflexology and those little extras, like peppermint tea afterwards, if you wish.

Great therapeutic and authentic Thai massage unlike so many other dodgy massage shops around. My back muscles are still very very sore after it. Cartoon is extremely professional and friendly - which is a breath of fresh air. Bought a gift voucher outright for my mother so she doesn't waste her time at other places. Tolly T. The place is very good, clean & open space. Excellent massage and she knows how to do the real massage and she knows what she's doing. I went there for the first time, having a head-ache due to my irregular sleeping pattern and a result, I had very stiff neck & shoulder. As well as I had a tennis-elbow problem, she massage my arm right and I felt better when I left there. I highly recommend this place for a good & worth dollar massage. Taking a short break at work on a Saturday I came across some pictures Just D loaded up (thank you my lady) - the inviting massage bed screaming "come lie on me NOW!" Without hesitation, I made an appointment. Plenty of car parks in front of the premise. I was warmly greeted by the owner and shown where to change. The massage bed was very lovely and warm and my body melted on the bed. Cartoon asked a few questions before we started and I pointed out my problem areas. She started on my legs and comment how I have tight calves and even tighter hamstrings - I'd like to think it was because I had put some decent hours in the gym lately .... ha ha ha! not quite. When she arrived at my problem areas (shoulders, back, neck), I gave her free reign to do what she like and I had been warned I will feel sore in the next hour and into the next day. She went to town on those knots laced all over the back of my shoulders and lower back with the help of some balm which creates heat and loosens the muscles. I am amazed at the consistency of her strength considering she is a tiny lady but most of all her skill and knowledge. I received some feedback and suggestions about my problem areas and others she found on her way. A few of them I had been told by my chiro therefore I am surprised she had picked up on some of those points during our session. I had a mix of remedial and deep tissue massage however there are other types of massages available and I will be back again! It is 20% off one hour massages until the end of June but you will need to make an appointment. 4.5 stars only because the place could be warmer temperature wise. The cubicle also had it's own heater. The music was on consistently- it's a pet hate when it stops during your massage. I'm an ex massage therapist of 14 years so I am a little fussy. So anywhere that I go to or will go to again means its good. So yes I will be going again. And probably in the not too distant future (I.e next weekend) Oh and it was great they take eftpos. Lani T

Professionally trained, the girls offer a relaxed atmosphere and know exactly how to respond to the body's needs. Other places offer great massages, but these two take so much care and put in so much effort that you just know you're getting a proper, qualified massage.
