I was a little disappointed with my experience here. This place is always hyped up by locals as the best in Camberwell though I found the food to be the exact same as other Chinese restaurants. The only difference was the price which was much higher than I usually pay for. Maybe they've let quality slip slightly I'm not sure what it is unfortunately, they didn't win me over.

This restaurant is a who's who of Flower Drum alumni. Many of the staff were ex Flower Drum or had an association with Flower Drum, Melbourne's top Cantonese Chinese restaurant.

Food quality here is high and service generally matches the quality as the place was intended to be a suburban version of Flower Drum. As a result over time the food quality has maintained however the prices do not reflect as much value for money as they used to. Some dishes are in fact more than what you would pay at a top restaurant in the city.

Dishes we like here include the pot sticker dumplings as an entree, steamed coral trout fish (when available), sweet and sour pork and crispy fried chicken.

Approximate cost: $25

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant bar none! The food is amazing, a little pricey but well worth it. Great for birthdays etc.... The staff a friendly be sure to book at least 2 weeks in advance as they are very busy. There banquets are Devin as well as there peaking duck. You have to leave room for dessert the toffee banana's are to die for!

Approximate cost: $20
