Store has lots of stock and staff seem to know about the differences between products. They aren't enthusiastic though and you almost feel like you need to extract info from them. Print service is good with friendly staff.

I went into Teds Fountain Gate (Vic) store last Friday with the intention of upgrading my SLR from my old one. I am a semi-professional photographer. My experience with the store and staff was disappointing to say the least. The first man I spoke to didn't know anything about Canon as he doesn't use one! The other man knew nothing as it was his first day on the job and a third man obviously knew plenty about Canon but just answered any questions with short, rude and disinterested answers while being more interested in a box being delivered. Never at any time did he show any interest in helping me. Never at any time did any of them actually ask me what I wanted the camera for and what photos I take. So I ended up leaving the store with not having been helped in any way. I ended up spending my $4,700 elsewhere! I'm sure this would have been a sale that the Fountain Gate store doesn't make every day! They need a wakeup call on their customer service or lack thereof.

I had helpful information from the sales assistant and she spent quality time in helping me to decide on a purchase. Shop is clean and easy to access.
