Amazing food. Fantastic, professional staff. Definitely deserves all the awards it has won. Pricey but worth it.

It is beyond me why this restaurant is not ranked #1 on the Mornington Peninsula.

This place is incredible!

I went for dinner with my husband for a special anniversary after my sister and brother-in-law have been raving about it for years.

I was blown away by everything.
Their customer service levels are high, and attentive, but not over-baring.

Their food was sensational and one of the top 3 meals I have ever had.
The ambiance was perfect, with great background music at the right volume for chatter, and the view out the window was relaxing (we ate here in March when the sun didn't go down until 8ish).

I can't rave on enough about the food. This is one of my favourite restaurants now, and although it is on the pricey side, you pay for an amazing experience and to leave feeling like you definitely got your moneys worth.

Hats off to the chefs who creates such visually pleasing food. Some dishes were so pretty we felt bad destroying them with our knives an forks. Lucky we did though as it was all outstanding.

We were given complimentary palate cleansing sorbet before dessert which felt like a great treat. Don't know if this is the norm here, but I loved it!

I will be back and I recommend anyone who is considering this place to go. You will not regret it.

This winery was recommended to us after speaking to the staff at t'gallant winery which is pretty much ten minutes by tractor up the road from this winery. It is a picturesque winery which gets very busy for tastings. I had to wait to get a spot at the bar but the wait was well worth it. The estate Chardonnay was as good as James Halliday said it was, I ended up purchasing a bottle. We also purchased a pinot noir wit (wine in tube) pack. Its a 60ml sample of 5 wines for $35.My husband found this to be a great idea as we dont finish a whole bottle over dinner, plus we also get try a variety of wines at home, in house wine tasting. Also a great xmas gift idea! We didn't eat at the restaurant although it did look very nice but pricey. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

Amazing!!! I think this is the best restaurant/winery I've been to in Australia!!
Beautiful, seasonal food, matching wines, exquisite service, beautiful location and view over the rolling hills.
It's pretty up-market but still has a laid-back attitude and I can't emphasise enough that it is well worth it!
P.S. I think the 2 course lunch (main and entree/desert (any)) was $70.

Approximate cost: $40

This restaurant has limited ambience, over-rated food, expensive wine, poor service. My experience was extremely disappointing. I contacted the restaurant after our experience to discuss how they might improve but was not listened to and did not receive an apology. This restaurant is over-priced and over-rated.

Approximate cost: $60

we arrived without a booking for a late lunch and they were full but very friendly, and offerred us seats and a glass of water (it was really hot) and that a table would be ready in about 10 minutes. we then had tastings while we waited. the wine list was excellent, with some old-world wines as well as their own and local producers. you can get different sized glasses, which is good if you want to try more than one or two, or if you're driving. the food was so good we were amazed, usually at winery restaurants the food is good, but not this good - this was top city restaurant quality, as was the service. the simple, well designed dining room has wndows overlooking the vineyard. There are even aesop products in the bathrooms

Approximate cost: $30

I have just returned from visiting Ten Minutes by Tractor celebrating a friend's birthday. The food, wine and service was wonderful and the restaurant was full - really couldn't fault it.

Approximate cost: $34

Wondering how many people attended the birthday and as to whether they dont cope with larger numbers.have spoken with some friends who have said that as a couple or foursome the venue coped well. Other locals like us found it dissapointing and that they were not able to manage a larger group. curious to know. thanks for your time

In answer to your query - there was only 4 at our Birthday luncheon. Have you realized that they have changed their chef and type of food served? perhaps you were there before the change. All four of us loved it and we are planning to return for another birthday luncheon in March

attended here for a friends birthday.she had read about it in the Age and we live locally to the venue. 16 people attended. on entry we ordered drinks from the lounge/bar area. the staff were very reluctant to allow us to pay as we went at the bar prior to the meal. Being a party of 16 this was ludicrous as adding individual drinks to the dinner meant those driving were paying for others drinks. poor organisation ,so some of us insisted on paying as we went. food was inadequate in portions and the fish overcooked. several members of the party who had duck were on the toilet the following day . They had no idea how to produce a liquer coffee at the end of the meal, the service was sullen and unwelcoming throughout. The venue appeared stunning at night but to charge those prices they need to lift their game and at least make sure their clients dont leave starving or sick. 1o minutes by tractor? 3 hrs by car in the dark of the redhill wineries and certainly not worth it although the decor might make you think otherwise. To add insult we were overcharged on drinks. surprised? we were not.

Approximate cost: $300 for my husband and i

I agree entirely. I have dined at the finest restaurants in Melbourne and around the world and found TBT to be so disappointing. We were ill following our visit and felt completley offended at the price we had to pay for such a bad experience.
