We went to this TGI for the first time and the food was pretty good

I had a group lunch for work and they do cater pretty well for large groups and the food came out pretty quick if you pre-order.

I do recommend getting the Buffalo wings (with a Bleu cheese dip) is a really good tasting appetiser. I also ordered their Ultimate Jack Daniel's Burger, which had nice crispy onion rings but, I did find their beef patties over cooked and dry. I've probably have had better burgers in a number of small cafes that costed a lot less.

Made a booking for a Friday night. The place was packed but we were seated as soon as we got there.

The service was really disappointing. The waiters were always polite but uninterested. Took us about 20 minutes to have our order taken and when we were done, no-one cleared our table until we asked for the bill (mind you it also took a while to get a waiter's attention).

The food was average, definitely nothing to rave about. The prices are reasonable compared with other restaurants that serve the same food, however I feel that it is overpriced at this place due to the lack of quality of the food.

I had the wild mushroom farfalle which was very bland and unimpressive. My friend had the chicken quesadilla which was better than my dinner, however again nothing to rave about.

I definitely won't be going back there.

A friend and I tried to book a table here for a few days but every time I phoned the call just rang out. We showed up anyway hoping to get a walk-in and were told that there would be a 45 minute wait, and we could wait at the bar in the meantime. We did this and got a table within 20 minutes. The food was amazing - my friend got a burger which came with chips, and I got a steak with mash and vegies. The steak was glazed in their special Jack Daniels glaze and tasted amazing. We also got a brownie to share for dessert and it was more than enough for the pair of us. The wait staff I think made my impression of the restaurant though - they were friendly and made us laugh. One of them also suggested changing my wine order, and it was a much better one so I was very happy. Would love to go again but one thing to mention is that it was very expensive. The portions are generous and the food was great but it should be mentioned.
