On my flight out, I discovered that only seafood was served. Not being able to eat this was apparently bad luck and I should have advised on booking (I kind of thought more than only seafood would have been offered though so hadn't thought to).
The flight back was worse. Ratty old plane with tiny TV screen up the front playing slide shows of pictures between occasional unwatchable documentaries involving bad folk music. The airhostesses were really rude and snappy. Even asking politely for some water got you an eye roll and a sigh. Eventually the water would turn up, but they made sure you knew it was all a huge hassle for them to actually do anything. Really surprised, never had such rude, grumpy airhostesses anywhere else ever. The non-fish food was inedible (Some kind of semi-cooked slimy pastry. Needless to say, next overseas trip, I requested NOT to fly with Thai Airways.
