I flew with Thai airways last February and my experience was fantastic. The flight was barely full and I ended up with a whole row of four seats to myself. I find the staff very friendly and accommodating. The price is not what you'd call cheap, but you get your own personal screen and decent meals.

I got really cheap tickets for whole family from Melbourne to Sidney. We had great flight, no problem at all. They got separate entrance at Tullamarine airport and when you arrive there it is more convenient for someone to pick you up. Very happy with everything.

Have flown with thai airways before and they have always been great but during our recent flight they were sensational. Our family flew from Melbourne to Bangkok then had an internal flight from Bangkok to Phuket. All flights left on time and the crew were genuinely welcoming. Even the food was good! On the way back my husband had a leg injury and mentioned it to a crew member who then offered him a different row so he could have a few seats to himself to prop his leg up. We were lucky the flight wasn't too full but I've been on other airlines where they wouldn't have offered that.
