Authentic beautiful Thai food, dine in and takeaway. I've tried both and never disappointed. Great menu.. Many choices. Fair prices and BIG servings. The restaurant has a modern comfortable atmosphere, BYO and NO corkage. Family business and personal service. The Roast duck red curry, crispy spicy pork belly, and soft shell crab in garlic pepper, were to die for. Well done!

Like many of the shops at Calamvale Marketplace, Thai Lao has a great village feel about it - this seems like a new place as the restaurant is well presented. The menu is modern and the incorporation of Lao dishes separates it from many other Thai restaurants about (the Lao papaya salad was very good). The green curry was fragrant and cooked with skill - it tasted authentic rather than from a tin. Really enjoyable experience, service was really excellent.
