I like the concept- choose your meat/veg, sauce/flavour, and the accompanying rice or noodle (more than 1 type of noodle available) or from the menu. E.g. chicken/beef/tofu, oyster sauce, rice noodles.
It's quick, good serving size, appealing to the eye, and very affordable. The kitchen (behind glass panels, so you can watch while it's been cooked) takes up most of the restaurant and there isn't much seating (I'm not sure if there's seating upstairs?), and many people come in to pick-up take-away. So while the decor is reasonable, the atmosphere is that of a take-away or quick-meal restaurant. The flavour is overly sweet on both occasions I've visited, which is the main let-down.

Simple, quick and fresh Thai food in Parrmatta. I've been here a few times, its nothing fancy but its good and simple with very friendly staff! The prices are very affordable too. I would certainly recommend this place!

Thaina Box is my all time favourite thai restaurant. I've tried quite a few dishes on the menu and they've all been delicious. It's average priced for Thai and the serving sizes are bigger than other Thai places i've been to. The service is great and they are very helpful and fast to serve you. Great to eat in or take away.

I am not much of a thai eater but went here for a birthday dinner, i was happy with the menu choices and the prices, and it was an added bonus that parking was easy as in parramatta it can be a bit hard to find parking.
The location of the premises is easy to find too as it is on one of the main strips.
Friendly, fast and good service. clean too.

The food is AMAZING! The chicken satays are delicious. They sound expensive at $3.50 each but dont be fooled because they are actually very large and filling. the peanut sauce is great! We also had the massamum curry which was beautiful and the panang which was great but a bit hot when it only had a rating of one on the hot scale! The service however was disappointing because the restaurant wasnt even busy. We had to remind them to bring our drinks out and they took a long time. However the food makes it worth the wait! The decor is nice and it has a relaxed cafe style atmosphere.

Great noodles, haven't tried any of the other dishes but do like the create your own noodles. Always friendly and fast service.

Before renovation, the place was awesome it seemed more chilled out just to have good food with family and friends. But after the renovation the place look dark and it felt like you have to dress nicely just to eat. But besides all the renovations, the service is great, every time we come in we get sat on a table straight away, food wise, we have tried everything in the menu and that speaks for itself, its large amounts of food for a very good value, in some other thai restaurants you wont get the much serving on your plate with a higher price tag.

THE WORST PLACE TO EAT EVER. THERE WERE REALLY BUSY WHEN WE GOT THERE SO WE HAD TO WAIT AROUND 10 MINS FOR A TABLE. WITCH WAS FINE. AFTER WE SAT DOWN THE PPL FROM THE PARTY LEFT. WE SAT DOWN FOR AROUND 20 MINS. I GOT UP TO LEAVE AND MY HUSBANDS FRIEND WITCH OWNS THE PLACE SAID HAVEN'T U HAD UR ORDER TAKEN YET. SO HE WENT TO GET THE MENU, PEN AND PAPER. HE SAT DOWN NEXT TO US WITCH I THOUGHT WAS A STRANGE WAY TO SERVE SOME BODY HE TOOK OUR ORDER. THE FOOD CAME OUT FAST. IT HAS TO BE THE WORST PLACE TO EAT THAI EVER, IT DIDNT TASTE LIKE THAI AT ALL. I CAN NOT BELIEVE THEY CHARGE $2.50 FOR AN EXTRA 120GS OF CHICKEN WITCH WE ORDERED BUT NEVER GOT. I DONT HAVE TO RATE THIS PLACE IT RATES IT SELF. PPL TRY TASTE OF THAI IF U WANT GOOD THAI FOOD.
