Wonderful venue that always has a vast range of entertainment/ shows, easy parking and close to the heart of the city.

What a great experience we decided to go out for a Sunday adventure drove down to the city and stopped at the arts centre Melbourne and got to experience some great inspirational pieces, but that's not where our day ended we decided to walk along st Kilda road and there was this great market selling everything from art and crafts, to handmade gifts great day

We went to the opera at the Art Center this evening, probably the hundredth opera performance we've enjoyed in the last twenty years. The theatres for opera, drama and symphony concerts still look and feel plush. Acoustics are quite good and there are lots of venues inside for everything from formal sit down dinners to light snacks. Not far away is busy Southbank with a huge selection of generally fancy and expensive restaurants if your budget can cope. There is also excellent access by tram and train - with Flinders St station being just a three minute walk away. Visitors to Melbourne could easily spend a whole day enjoying the Arts Center and the National Gallery of Victoria which is next door. If you need fresh air and beautiful landscaping - the Botanical gardens is almost opposite. Its an extraordinarily rich collection of cultural and recreational resources.

We went there to see a live comedy show and was very impressed with the venue

Its in a good location by the yarra river and Southbank restaurants too

My family and I like visiting the Art Centre. It has it's very interesting spire on the top and there is always some wonderful play or show being held inside or outside of the Art Centre.

This place is a must for all visitors to Melbourne.
