I have been attending this barber shop for over 10 years. I love my haircut but I am very annoyed about their pricing policy. Initially I was charged $22 which I found very reasonable (I am a woman and have a very short haircut with shears similar to a mans's haircut).
Even when I was a pensioner I never claimed the pensioner rate since I was still happ with $22.
However the prices went up and the hairdresser said since you are a long term customer if you show me your pension card I will charge you pensoion rate. (suits me although I should have been paying this price for several years).
Anyway, next time I go for a cut I am charaged $25 she must have forgot that I was a pensioner so again I paid it (reluctantly) and asked if the prices had gone up. Yes I was told.
Anyway they have gone up again now to from $30 for women!!! how do you go from $22 to from $$30 and by the way my hair cut is similar to a man's i.e. shave up the back and sides and take off some off the top. Will be interesting to see if I can get the pension rate next tiem
since i moved to australia i always have my haircuts at the barber shop price is pretty average (22$ a men's cut) but the people there are really nice specially kevin a vietnamian fellow that always does my haircut
