You do a double-take as you drive through Kimba. You tend to look at the big grain silos first, but look the other way and there is this great big pink Galah. Its really quite impressive, and makes you smile. Its probably not as well known as some of the other Oversize Aussie attractions, but I reckon its better than some of the better-known ones. The gemshop behind has a nice range of local gemstones, including really nice Jade pieces, and opal. There were also carved emu eggs and other souvenirs. Well worth a look if you're travelling through.
