Stunning views and ambiance, especially in summer! The food is simple, great quality and delicious. Service is great but expect long queues on the weekend

Food here is really good. I recommend the fruit platter and also the coffee is decent. Beautiful views of the beach also. Can be queues for breakfast if you go on the weekend though ;-)

With a beautiful view and the delicious scent of the food, the boathouse is the perfect place for any meal with family and friends. Although the menu is over priced, the food is delicious and served in good timing and well presented. Expect to pay around $30 per head for lunch, a milkshake or smoothie is $8. However the food being of great quality and service very polite and cheerful, I would love to come back here again.

Approximate cost: $25-40

This cafe has to have one of the best locations on the Northern Beaches. It is right on the waterfront, with a jetty outside where both boats and seaplanes can pull up. There are tables outside on the water side, inside, and also in the front, which overlooks Governor Phillip Park. The down side is that it is incredibly popular! On a nice sunny day, the queue to order could be right out of the door. There is no queue to be seated, so one just has to wait around and be the first lucky one to grab a vacating table. When you get your perfect table, and then order the food, the coffee is great, and the breakfasts are good too. The prices are good for a place that is so popular. Overall, this is a fantastic cafe with almost everything going for it. On a nice day midweek, and outside of school holidays there are few better options for a nice slow coffee.

A great brunch experience as dishes are simple but servings are generous. The atmosphere is happy and relaxed. DIY table service, cuttlery and water glasses is not a bad idea. Problem is, they don't take bookings so we turned up to celebrate a birthday and only half our crowd could get in and the other half had to wait at least 30 minutes to join.

Has to be one of Sydneys best locations. I love coming here for a lazy breakfast on a weekday. All a bit hectic on the weekend as the secret is out. Great food, immaculate presentation and a breathtaking view
