Enjoyed a lovely birthday dinner here after reading a review in a local Gippsland magazine. Am delighted to say that the menu, whist not extensive had a lovely range to choose from and what we ordered was delicious. My husband enjoyed the tender and tasty squid, I had blue swimmer crab dumplings in a spicy broth for entree', for mains my husband has a 250g eye fillet with potato gratain, vine roasted tomatoes with a pepper sauce and I enjoyed the masterstock duck, which was lovely. For dessert I indulged and had the creme brulee. All up with two beers & two red wines, it cost us $129.00 - very reasonably priced for a la carte' and well presented and flavoured meals.
The only critique was the service - it was a little inconsistent. With me being served a red wine with my husband having to wait a little while to check what beer he wanted. Head waiter (?) was more experienced than the other staff, with the other waitresses a little 'rough around the edges'/ inexperienced in working in an al la carte restaurant (better suited to pub meals.)

Approximate cost: $30.00
