i have been told the pub is under new management (original owners are back in) i found them very welcoming and friendly. the staff were extrmely helpful and provided a great source of local knowledge of things to see and do in the area that otherwise you wouldnt know about. the food was well presented and came out in good time. my companian had a pizza that was freshly made and tasty. I had the steak it was cooked near on perfect and melted in your mouth and i am told that they now have real coffee there defently a place that i will be returning to.

Went for a meal with family, all ordered at the same time. After an hour and half wait the meals did not all come at the same time, with one of our party getting their meal when everyone else had finished. Service was rude, a smile by the female manager would not go astray. Her rudeness to customers was the worst I have ever seen, we were informed it was not her fault that it was busy and we did not get our meals earlier. But looking around there were only three other tables seated at the time. We were basically told they did not care whether we ever came back or not.
