A beautiful bookshop, with lovely staff, an excellent selection of children's books, and a range of adult books (both fiction and non-fiction) tucked away in the back. A free adult book club runs on Tuesdays, with groups meeting every four weeks to discuss a variety of titles.
The prices are higher than other methods of book-buying (namely online), but they are comparable with physical bookshops in Sydney--and the value is in supporting such a wonderful independent bookseller!
This gorgeous bookshop in the (very) pretty Beecroft specialises in--you guessed it--Children's books. Picture books, teen books, school books, beautifully bound classics... it feels a little bit magic.
They have a large collection, a very pretty store, and I was lucky enough to visit the shop for the first time when they had a very special event arranged--an intimate talk with author Lauren Oliver!
The shop really was fantastic, the staff were lovely, and I could lose hours (and hundreds of dollars) wondering around this TARDIS-like shop buying books!
Great Bookshop. Don't be misled by its name as there are plenty of books for adults as well as children. They even have bookclubs that you may want to join. Great for finding classics.
The very best place to buy children's books. The range is amazing as is the expertise of the staff. They are also willing to order anything the don't have in.
Well organised and set up bookshop with a long standing reputation. Needs more specials. Fun place for children to shop and browse and cultivate a love of books.
