The manager is rude and arrogant to me and to the customers so I would avoid this place at all costs and I would recommend going to another Hotel/Pub.

The restaurant is now having a fresh look after rennovation. It has also provided a kid playing area so it caters to families as well.

The food is tasty, plate presentation is appealing and serving size is good. The food and drinks are reasonably priced. The seniors menu is of particularly value. If you have shop-a-docket 2-1 coupon, it is even better. In conjunction with the new renovation, the customer service is also better now.

My son and I often drop into the sports bar and purchase a pot & parma for $10, which is excellent value, the parma's are always large and tasty, and the drinks are icy cold

More over-priced, average pub fare in the eastern suburbs. The meals here are okay but they are small and expensive. I miss the days where you could get a really great meal at the local pub. The food is halfway there, just needs some tweaking but serving sizes need to be larger.

Kids play area is a welcome perk for both kids and adults alike and it was this feature that led my 10 year old daughter to select this venue for her birthday dinner. On arrival, the young disengaged woman seating us swept her hand across the clearly dirty table top to brush a few of the last diners crumbs aside, told us she was going to get water for the table and never came back. My father ended up seeking out the detergent spray and cloth from the counter and wiping down the table himself. Two of our three chairs were broken (badly enough that my 10 year old couldn't sit on them) and needed to be exchanged. After the already questionable service, the menu prices were off-putting but the food coming out of the kitchen looked quite well-presented and generous in portion, so we were excited. Upon receiving our meals, they were disappointing. Generous size aside, they were pretty average. Risotto was terribly cooked with big lumps of chalky powdery old rice all through it, overcooked seafood and weird combination of flavours. Stir fry was good enough to satisfy my kid and calamari was ok.
Nothing to write home about and I wouldn't go there again in a hurry unless service and quality of food was unimportant and someone else was paying.

The location of this place isnt great. Although parking isnt bad, the (non kids part) down the back is almost like an old style pub with the bar which i like. i think the food is pretty good for a local pub/bistro. prices are good (especially if you get a shop-a-docket 2for1) i dont like lining up for my food to be honest though. but besides that its a pretty good pub.

A great bistro with a $12.00 seniors menu if required. The food is good although sometimes the vegetables are blanched too quickly and are still almost raw.
The dining area is huge, parking is easy and the staff are very frioendly and efficient.
Plenty of pokies if that is what you want.

This is what I describe as being standard pub fare. I go there for lunch sometimes when I have a coupon or for the odd family occasion like a children's birthday or a quick family lunch.

The service can be slow but the staff are friendly. The food is nothing outstanding but relatively affordable and quite large in portion size. The menu is limited but I don't go to a pub looking for a new culinary experience. The playground is large, enclosed and clean so parents can let their kids play in safety.

No better than any pub in the local area. The food was as good as can be expected from a pub meal. The fact that there is a playground is great for families, however school holidays are crazy!! Took us 30 mins to line up to order and another hour to get our meals!

Approximate cost: $22

A group of 8 of us went here for lunch on a Sunday. There were others there but it was by no means busy.
On the positive side, for the most part the meals came out together. The chicken parmigiana was huge.
On the negative side, the roasts were cold, the soup was tasteless, the dips all tasted the same. The coffee took ages and when it arrived it was cold.
One good thing about this place is that the kitchen doesn't close at 3pm on Sundays like so many other places do.

Approximate cost: $25
