A group of three of us came here for some burgers and drinks on Friday night. When we went up to order our food, we were told there would be a 30 minute wait as they were quite busy - we were fine with this. We grabbed some drinks and found a table and waited for our burgers. After an hour, we still hadn't received our burgers even though people who had ordered after us were eating. We went up to check if our order was being processed and the waitress said they would be out soon. Nearly half an hour later, our burgers finally came out, and while they were presented quite nicely the fries were slightly undercooked. An hour and a half wait for what we received was definitely not worth it. Would not come back here on a weekend for food.

This is a fantastic place for guys to get together and have a great meal and a few beers.

I have been here a couple of times with my mates and have found the food to be amazing. Have tried their Pulled Pork wood oven pizza, it tasted so good. Also, their Hot Buffalo Wings (yes hot!) you need to wear gloves to eat these things. The mozzarella sticks are a must try as well as their potato skins and onion rings. Burger are huge, so many to choose from, they have a fantastic menu, you really wont know what to start with, the burger are a bit pricey but well worth the price.

They have a wing challenge on wednesdays, if you want to participate you have to book ahead. In this challenge you need to eat 9 hot wings in 10 minutes and they wait another 5 minutes before you can have a drink. I didn't do the challenge, might think about some time though.

Didn't have any dessert, couldn't fit another thing in, but I am sure my girlfriend would have enjoyed the Nutella Pizza!

Overall, a great place to relax, very friendly staff and amazing food. Will be returning soon, definitely recommend.

Approximate cost: $20

The Curious Squire is an excellent bar... for guys. There's a great selection of boutique beers that men will enjoy. The list of wines however really isn't great - and considering guys who drink boutique beers likely enjoy the company of girls who enjoy wine, this isn't a good thing. The wines that are also on offer are far too expensive and really detract from the business of the bar.

Haven't had food there yet so can't comment on that- but from what I saw it looked tasty but expensive also.

Love the atmosphere in Adelaide's latest eatery. I took a Singaporean friend and was feeling the pressure to live up to that country's high standards. A combination of tables and bench seating both indoors and out and a DJ plays perfectly volumed cool tracks. A great menu with the usual pub fare but often with a twist. We had oysters kilpatrick, which were perfect (not overcooked at all), red duck curry which was delicious and Vietnamese beef salad. Be warned the asian dishes are on the spicy side! Service was below expectation, both at the bar and the food service. As an example, we had advised that we wanted to share the meals but had to ask again for plates to share, we did not receive cutlery and when it was delivered it was almost thrown at us - the waitress was definitely under pressure. I would definitely go back though.
