On 23 April 2017 I was a guest at my friends' wedding at The Deckhouse. I was also making a video for them as a wedding gift. The staff assumed that I was a service provider of some sort. I ended up looking for a cafe on my way home that night. The things that the staff said to me are inappropriate for a WOM review. If standard levels of decency are part of your criteria, I do NOT recommend The Deckhouse to anyone.);

Nice modern Australian restaurant with great view. We were there for dinner and we loved it. We had tempura crispy prawns with Asian sauce & slaw and Roast duck with watercress, orange salad & Peking dressing and Crispy soft shell crab. We loved the food and I loved their service dish, which was bit unusual with wide rim.
The dessert was my highlight with tiramisu with mascarpone & coffee chocolate bark.

Lovely place for a wedding, and guests can arrive there by boat. Only new, however it is proving a popular place. You can married at the restaurant, or get married at Clarke's Point in the park and then have a reception there. Would certainly recommend.

View is fabulous here. Harbour Bridge at it's best.
Location is a little difficult to find the first time you go as you have to drive through a park and depending on if the gates are open or closed as to how close you can park.
The food is lovely. We had a set menu and all dishes that arrived were beautiful.
Would recommend lunch in winter and dinner in summer.
A little pricey but with the view I would say it is worth it.
