I have been waiting for 5 months for my samples & heard nothing e-mails go unanswered & my money never refunded. Very disappointing. Do not waste your time or money.

After making contact via the "contact us" form on the website and getting no reply, I emailed them directly a few days later. After no reply from either these two methods, I rang and left a voice message - the phone was not answered during business hours. The next day when my order was still not delievered as I had hoped I rang again - still no answer! Same message saying they will get back to me shortly if I left a message. Neither call was ever returned. Unfortunately I can now see from other reviews this type of customer service is typical from The Elephant Room. The money I paid for samples was only small, but still I paid for something I never received. I emailed to ask for a refund but of course that was never acknowledged either. Should be reported to Fair Trading. If you want stock that they have go direct to the manufacturer and find another stockist, DO NOT waste your time and money with The Elephant Room!

DO NOT use this company. I ordered $1400 worth of wall paper on 27/08/2014 and still haven't received my order. I have sent multiple Emails and have called countless times, with only 1 generic Email reply of " I'll look into it and contact you tomorrow ... NOT". I have now contacted AMEX and am in the process of cancelling my payment. Consumer affairs is next !!!!!

I have been waiting for my wallpaper since ordering it back in August. They were very quick to take the money but after many many phone calls (never answered) I still have not received anything. They have also stopped replying to emails. This is the worst customer service I have encountered in this industry.

We placed an order some time ago and have made numerous calls and sent several emails but have not received any communication or product. The site refers to a prompt (4/5 day) processing time for orders but we have not received our fabric. Every time I have placed a call it goes to message (no one has ever answered) and says to leave a message and they will get back to you soon. I have left several phone messages but have never received a call back. The order placed was almost a thousand dollars and it's totally unacceptable that no communication (besides the automated online store receipt at time of placing the order) has been made by this store. I like many of the reviews, wish I had read these reviews before I placed the order. The web site looks professional but the store and service is a far cry from that. Sadly because of the lacking communication and in an attempt to get my money back I have to escalate this to the Department of Fair Trade in QLD. It seems a huge amount of effort to go to just to buy some curtain fabric. I would not recommend this store on any level.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. Their customer service is non-existent. Many emails and phone calls have resulted in zero response from them. Appalling business practise. I have ordered and paid $400 for wallpaper and have had NO RESPONSE. This is outrageous. My only option now is consumer affairs.

Aaahhgg...Really wish I'd read these reviews, before I ordered and gave them my money!!!! The professional looking website seems to be where the professionalism stops. I ordered fabric which clearly states 5 business days to deliver. After 12 days my online account info says my order has not progressed beyond "order received" ....have left over 3 messages on the apparently never answered telephone message service and emailed....NONE of which has been replied to!!! Should have been alarmed when the pay-pal section of the payment on check out did not load....went again my better judgement and paid credit card because of this. Please respond/refund money or I will be in touch with ACCC, and the checkout TV show. Disgusting, disgraceful service...STAY AWAY

Stay away from this company!!!!! Should have read the reviews prior to placing sample order... Terrible service have been waiting over a month for samples to no avail... Cant get a response from anyone via email nor phone... I run a very successful design & construction firm so very disappointed , disgraceful service. If you can't deliver what you advertise then you shouldn't be in business and you definitely should not be wasting other people's time & money which I doubt will be refunded back

Don't waste your time or money with this company. After ordering and paying for some wallpaper samples, I didn't hear anything from them for 6 weeks so sent a email and got a quick reply from them who said they would look into it and get back to me the next day. After a few weeks and a number of emails later I still have no reply from them. Don't know how they are still trading? I wish I read these reviews before ordering. I certainly would not have spent my time and money on the Elephant Room. Not happy!
