This has been the most amazing escape. Such beautiful accommodation. Beautiful setting. Great staff and amenities. Wonderful meals and all of this, only a stone's throw from the hustle and bustle of the Gold Coast. Thank you. We'll be recommending you to all our friends and we'll be back :)

I took advantage of the three nights pay for two special and that perhaps enhanced our stay and feeling of value for money. I would likely take advantage of specials in the future as this makes a romantic escape more accessible. For a full paying customer, it might be nice to have the bags delivered to the room and breakfast available as room service. But no complaints here, it was one of the better stays I've had...and I've had many around the world.

A very welcomed surprise to drive through the gates into a tranquil paradise which felt secluded from the rest of the world, even though only being within short distance of all the recommended places to visit at Mt Tamborine. All of the staff provided an amazing service (nothing short of brilliant) and the food was homely and pleasant. The cool weather allowed us to enjoy the comfort of the fireplace in a well set out room. It was great to spend some quality time with my wife during the short period of time I had back at home in Australia prior to heading back over to the Middle East, glad our night away was spent at the Escarpment Retreat.

Truly a wonderful and enjoyable weekend. From the moment I booked, arrived and left the service was second to none. The villa's are beautiful, great size and comfortable, we loved the fire place and made use of it with the cooler weather. I had the best massage ever, honest, thank you Shan. The gardens were beautiful to stroll through before breakfast especially Lover's Lookout where you can see as far as the ocean. Thank you to the lovely lady who cooked breakfast for each day, so fresh and delicious. We had the most wonderful time and have told everyone it is the place to go. Thank you Carolynne for having us.

The location was beautiful and villas cosy and romantic. Everything was so clean and the did appear aged or over used. The breakfast was wonderful and the tasted better than some high cafes. I had to endure a long DVD my wife wanted to watch, but that was ok, with her in my arms in front of the fire, the time went by just fine and I'd do it all again. And the Escarpment is a place worth visiting again and again.

The escarpment retreat is a beautiful place to relax and unwind. Far enough away from the busy crowd but close enough to all the best tourist attractions. We had a very relaxing weekend. Beautiful way to recharge the batteries. A very calming stay. Will come back again.

Wow what an amazing getaway!! A first-class retreat, sumptuous breakfasts and a wonderful room. Truly a weekend of relaxation, service, food and expertise. An excellent facility that provides a very restful environment and a romantic getaway. Had a wonderful experience!

Carolyn was wonderful staff and asset to your establishment. We loved our breakfast and the fireplace. Also the weather was too warm for the log fire a good reason for us to return for an anniversary. What else can I say? Just tranquil, restful, welcoming....loved it!

Delightful staff made us feel very welcome. The room is warm and inviting, especially with the well-stocked fireplace! We loved exploring the beautiful gardens and second-to-none views (and were very envious of the avocado and citrus trees)! As business owners, are holiday time is very limited, but we were so happy to end up here on one of our precious breaks. We'll be back for sure!
