So expensive for what I have got at every other salon I have been to in the West. I always ask for my eyebrows trimmed or plucked and never paid more than a eyebrow wax $16 - $18!!!!

I'm a 30 something mum of 3 for my generation it was all about thin eyebrows, obviously I have achieved that. But as I get older i want more eyebrows to frame my eyes. I think I have tried every "specialist" going around in Adelaide. My key phrase was please don't take anymore hair off my eyebrows. My cousin suggested I give Fiona a try, so I did. I couldn't believe the detail Fiona gave my eyebrows, I walked into the salon with these little incorrectly shaped eyebrows and walked out a different person. I was so happy that I was speechless.

If you are like me, tired of having no eyebrows give Fioan a go, she is amazing and you will not regret it.

Approximate cost: $27 for touch ups

Fiona "The Eyebrow Queen" is a genius, the likes of which I haven't seen before or since. She knows the theory behind creating great brows, not just what looks good vs what doesn't. She will give you the perfect eyebrows, every time!
Viva la Eyebrow Queen!

Amazing!!... Just had my first appointment at The Eyebrow queen. no one has ever shaped them or coloured them like this before! Fiona started the consult with explaining the reasons why she was about to do certain things to my brows.
The whole experience was great.. $65 spent well. I'll definatly be back.... I cant beleive I have waited this long to get GREAT brows!

Approximate cost: $65 initial $27 after

I booked in to have my eyebrows done. I have some positive and eyebrow-raising negative feedback...

The eyebrow raising:
All new customers must have an 'initial appointment' regardless of the state of their eyebrows for $65. (Yes, Sixty Five dollars).

You must pay for the entire treatment in advance. So I guess if you're not satisfied you can't not pay. (Trust is grudgingly awarded to repeat customers with only 50% upfront required.)

I have quite full eyebrows, and have always been careful to maintain them fuller rather than plucked to high heaven - and so I think I cut short the Eyebrow Queen's MO as she couldn't really find anything to criticise. This is just my opinion, but it seems a good deal of the EQ's 'superiority' lies in her commencing the treatment with some hearty criticism and tut-tutting over the state of your existing brows, before 'rescuing' them ("Don't despair! Most eyebrows can be saved" - www.eyebrowqueen.com.au)

The actual brow shaping was just a normal shaping as far as I'm concerned; the only difference was that she trimmed some eyebrow hairs in addition to waxing, but I do know other salons do this as well. I'd been kind of hoping for something WOW - but it was just same old same old. I certainly wasn't in there for as long as the apppointment time was booked.

The positive:
The brow colour (I lightened mine a little) was good - it didn't seem to be a full bleach like I'd had before, but rather the colour was peppered through, so some hairs were lighter, some still darker. It was nice.

I also had my eyelashes tinted, and it was a very smooth and eye-irritation-free process. Unfortunately they don't have (or didn't have in stock at the time) the blue-black for eyelash tinting, just plain black.

Overall verdict: if you're pretty happy with your current brows - save yourself $50 and get a wax at your local.

Approximate cost: $85.00
