One of the worst customer service experiences I've had. In early June 2016, I ordered some black head halters for sheep to be used at the Australian Sheep & Wool Show in July 2016. Within 5 minutes of making the order, I called The Farm Store & double checked with them that I would receive the halters in time for the show. I was assured that I would. When it got to a week out from the show, I called to find out what was happening as I still hadn't received my order. Again assured that all was well and the halters would arrive. They didn't. And not only did they arrive after the show but they were also not all black, a number of them were bright blue. So I called, explained the mistake and was told to send the blue ones back & they would get replaced by black ones. I returned the incorrect coloured halters and began waiting. And waiting. And waiting. It is now over 12 months since I originally placed the order for halters and I ended up giving up receiving the order in full. I made multiple phone calls in that time, spoke to more than one person (there is one woman in particular who is especially hopeless but I will abide by the rules & not name her...), sent various emails etc etc. In the end, the 2017 Australian Sheep & Wool Show occurred and I decided it was a totally lost cause. I contacted The Farm Store (yet again) and asked them to cancel my order and refund me for the items that I had not received. Of course, I should not have been surprised that I had to chase them up because the refund did not go through as promised. I then put in an order, for exactly the same items, with The Farmers Mailbox, via ebay. I received exactly what I ordered within about 3 days. Do yourself a favour and bypass The Farm Store & use The Farmers Mailbox instead. I will be in the future!
