We called in here on spec and was delighted to just get squeezed in on a table for two....the layout of this restaurant is very different with 3 sets of long high tables down the middle. and tables for 2 on the sides. The Place was buzzing. The Prices were cheaper than we have seen on many a pub menu recently, and my husband said it was the best fish and chips he'd had in ages....served in a quirky colander with mock newspaper...very creative. The waitress was lovely she did get our order mixed up and we did have to wait for one of the meals but she was so apologetic and straight away offered a free pint for hubby who was more than happy. You can also eat in the outside alfresco .or on the couches ..Great place ..loved it. Oh by the way I would say that the average age group here would have been in the late twenties - thirties
