1 review about The Garden Table Cafe

I have eaten here a few times, the first time I went to The Garden table café for morning tea with a friend and had a lovely fruit and nut bread which had a sweet house made rhubarb chutney or Jam served on top, it was quite unusual but very tasty. Most recently I went there for lunch with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. I had a savoury tart/quiche kind of dish with goats cheese and I think it had fennel and other herbs in it too, and it was absolutely delicious. We also both had a dessert, and they often change the menu of sweets and desserts available so we both tried something new. I love this place, because not just is the food really nice, but the menu is quite creative, and everything has a real country living kind of feel to it, the décor is really pretty and rustic inside the café and if you sit in the outside area there is a beautiful view of the nursery. The service has always been quite good too, it has been busy there a few times when I have visited, however I am always served pretty promptly, and the staff are friendly. Some of the main meal items here can be a little expensive as compared to other cafes, but this is quite a fancy café though, it is more like a restaurant.
