Call someone else instead!

I first made contact on a Wednesday, Rob told me he would come on Friday to fix my hot water unit. He told me he'd call when he arrived, and when it was fixed. He never turned up. I never heard from him. I called and called over the next few days and never heard back. I was stuck over the weekend waiting until Monday to contact another service person.

Very hard to get in contact with. A smooth talker that doesn't walk the talk. I wish I had just gone with someone else straight away and not wasted almost a week trying to call him (and having cold showers!). Would not recommend.

I would avoid this guy. Let me down twice in a row, then abused me when he tried to rearrange a 3rd time and I told him not to worry I'd find someone else. Full of excuses: first time was an emergency meeting with his accountant, second time was because his father in-law had been murdered this morning (but he could do tomorrow).

I have been dealing with the Gas Doctors since June 2010. I had a gas hot water breakdown at my rental property on the Saturday morning of the Queen's birthday weekend. I searched the internet and rang several businesses, only to be greeted by voicemail and away messages. I rang the Gas Doctors and spoke to the Owner, Robert, who was away for the weekend. He assured me that someone would call me. I was rung by one of his team within 15 minutes and the water heater was up and running by the close of business that day.

I had a my Hot water system break down over Easter. My Mum was away and I called at least 6 plumbers to come and repair it and no - one called me back. I then called The Gas Doctors who were many many suburbs away thinking it was too far for them to travel on Easter Sunday to Bunya. I spoke to Al who was also away said he would get one of his technicians to call me within 30 minutes. Sure enough I received a phone call in 15 mins from one of his technicians and the hot water was repaired that day. Muzza was great to deal with he was very professional and had the problem sorted in no time.... I would highly recommend this Company for being prompt and very friendly. J Malone . Bunya

I have been dealing with The Gas Doctors for years. As a Senior Property Manager of one of Brisbane's busiest real estate companies for 8 years, I have used this company repeatedly. They are very reliable, honest and always on time. I know the job will be done properly and to perfection. The owner, Robert, is a pleasure to deal with and so is his staff who are very polite and courteous. The Gas Doctors specialise in all Gas Products and any plumbing job that is required. I have had Landlords use their own preferred plumbers before and was told once that a cook top needed to be replaced... Rob fixed this saving the Landlord hundreds of dollars!!!!!!!!!
