The gate is a great bar and has a neat restaurant where you can eat inside or out. The foods always nice and good value. It is a typical bar at night but during the day is very pleasant.

Service great, restaurant decor is lovely and modern, comfortable furniture and seating, lovely atmosphere. Meals are cheap for the size and quality. Pre book for Friday & Saturday nights and try and get a spot at the back during their busier times (Sat night and Sunday afternoon).

Beautiful food and the service was great but avoid Fri/Sat/Sun nights as way too noisy and boisterous. Staff are very nice and helpful, food was delicious! (I have had a bad meal there once but that was about a year ago, maybe they have a new chef now).

This bistro has a relaxing garden area to enjoy your meal. The staff are friendly and it is conveniently located near the shops so you can do the shopping and stop for a bite to eat.

Wonderful service, Fantastic food, beautiful restaurant only problem is the amount you pay for, $30 fish of the day was not worth the amount in size

Great atmosphere. The food has been great on one occasion and then terrible the next. Good band when we were there.

You will not be disappointed with a visit to the Gate Bar and Bistro with a faultless Chicken Caesar Salad large enough for two with a great Wines Special List.

its a nice looking place but when you get to they heart of it its not whats its cracked up to be. the waiters have no clue on how to serve people and i was standing there once for over 5 mins for one bloody drink . pull you head in assholes
