After obtaining several quotes for a driveway gate and fence I chose The Gate Shop based on first impressions. Were quite courteous and prompt. Once deciding to accept their quote, I paid 50% deposit ( $900 ). I was advised that the materials were on hand and that it would all be sent to the powder coaters over Easter with an install on the following Thursday. When Thursday arrived, I waited and waited, no turn up. On calling the shop, I was advised that there was no immediate record of my order and no install booked!!! Since then, I learnt that my consultant had left employ of the company. They called me back later that day to advise records had been found but my gates and fence had not been built and that they would get onto this..That was 1 week ago, and I still have not had any email/call to advise status...will await final outcome and updat

The Gate Shop built a paling fence for our house in Clifton Hill. They used good quality timber for the fence rails and the job was completed to a high standard (and I am fussy!). They also cleaned up after themselves, including removing an old corrugated iron fence.
