Seriously a great char grilled chicken. Kitchen closes at 9pm. Ordered at 8:55pm, and they still delivered a delicious chicken dinner. Kudos

I enjoyed dinner here before a nearby concert at the Convention Centre.
It was nice to try a different cider not often on menus; and dinner was delicious.
Service was attentive.

A little out of the way, but worth the trip.
The decor and surrounds is that of a nice beer hall/garden. Soaring yet exposed ceilings. Fairy lighting features on the vertical and horizontal aerial beams. Polished floorboards and elegant timber bistro chairs & barstools.
The food ranges from casual share plates to more traditional a la carte. Presentation is beautiful and wholesome, celebrating the actual produce rather than trying to create it into something else. A fillet of ocean trout was served perfectly cooked with a generous helping of pepperonata & a wedge of lemon for $28, no fancy plating technique needed it looked & tasted fabulous just as.
